If you have a pre-set template, simply click the “Edit” button under the “Templates section” to switch it to Shopping.

I tried to verify my instagram shopping account but I didn't pay enough attention… I forgot to verify my domain before and I asked Facebook to check it again. Now I did everything and should get accepted but the option to check my account again for Instagram shopping is gone… I have no idea what to do and need urgent help. 🙁

However we wish to cheer you up with the fact that, you can always reapply for Instagram shopping, after mending the commerce policies. Since you have already done that, here are some steps to follow to apply again:
– Open Instagram app on mobile
– Go to profile- settings- business
– there you will find an option of either shopping or apply for Instagram shopping.
Through this gateway you can reapply for Shopping. Meanwhile we wish to add that, if you have already tried once or denied Shopping, please switch back to personal profile, disconnect your Instagram with Facebook page and start fresh. I think the root cause is – I was selling essential oils via my ecwid site and it pulled through to my FB shop – and it is seen as medical products (Stupid move I know!). I removed them and reviewed, but I cannot seem to review any more? I thought about deleting my accounts and starting fresh but still hesitant to do so. My account quality seems to have no issues, my catalogue also no issues, but my FB shop is rejected and Instagram as well? Do they link? It says if Instagram is giving me problems I should contact FB…
I am not sure if there is other requirements I also don't meet? I have read up ALLOT. Please help. So desperate.

I have an issue with the commerce account on FB, which is connected to the Instagram account, I have tried to connect Instagram Shopping and the catalogue of my shopify store, which wasn't finalized and there was missing products information ( I know its wrong ) but I just wanted to try how this works at that time thinking that it is an easy step, after that and unfortunately the commerce account is restricted from selling and got the following msg:

(You can’t use Shopify Commerce Account to create new Shops or sell from existing Shops.)
can you please advice how can i remove this restriction and what to do on this level? I have finalized the shop now and want to connect it on Facebook and Instagram, but no emails or texts helping me to do this.

1. As we see, the error message say something around products – To counter this, you must ensure that: a) You are selling a physical product b) You are not a drop shipper c) Your products are directly available for purchase on your WooCommerce store.
2. Let us take another case, Say you have qualifies the above condition – Make sure that you have the same products in your Facebook catalog that are in your website. Which means, you are connecting a correct catalogue on Facebook and Instagram. If not, the connect the right catalog
3. You also have to make sure that your business falls under the countries currently eligible for Shopping.

To re-apply for Instagram Shopping you have to—
– Disconnect everything and connect again.
– Uninstall any app if you are using to connect to IG Shopping and also go back to a "Personal account" on Instagram.
– Start from the very beginning and complete each steps – first on Facebook and the on Instagram.
– You will now be able to re-apply again. (before that, make sure that you comply with each things mentioned in the blog as well as on Instagram policies)

Great article. I have created a FB & Instagram page and they are both connected to my FB commerce account. My FB & IG Shop can't be published & I cannot request a review. The error message I receive is as follows: "Shop can't be published
After reviewing your commerce account, we found that it doesn't comply with our Commerce eligibility requirements, so your shop isn't visible to potential customers. If you believe that your shop should be published, you can see details and request a review in "Account quality"." I have checked my account quality & there are no issues there, further to this I have removed problematic items from my catalogue, such as gift vouchers. My products feed is from my Shopify store. I have been dealing with the same issue for months now. i had 3 items rejected (1 gift card and 2 products) and deleted the items to make the next approval process simpler. For some reason whatever approval process FB uses is still seeing the products (even though they are not visible in the catalog) and rejecting starting the cycle over. Its a super frustrating process and instagram shopping would be a huge huge asset to my business.
Instagram Ads are not blocked and I able to run them but I cant get my shop working. My shopify website is fully functioning and active with lots and lots of products (i have a pearl jewelry business). Hoping i might be able to have my issue escalated as well with your team. Thanks so much!

I have a weird problem with instagram shopping, I have a spanish company but I live in Andorra. Andorra is not in the list of countries for instagram shopping so when I tried to enable the instagram shopping in my business profile they always say "your are still not elegible", but my business and my company are in spain, which is 101% elegible, so the thing is that I think ig detects that I connect my phone in Andorra and they block my account to the shopping area…

I have been struggling not being able to finishing up publishing my shop.
I applied for a review a few days ago and it now says, "Action needed", "No sales channels connected.You haven't connected any channels to sell your items."
I go to manage channels, But I cannot edit my Facebook account and Instagram account which are both "paused" status. it says, "You can't edit visibility because you don't have a permission or your commerce account is restricted".
I found out that my catalog is not connected to website, saying "These websites were reviewed and were not approved. ".
I updated my catalog, fixed the possible mistakes in there. But I don't know if this is enough or is there any way I can request another review for this?

In the commerce account, I go to add Instagram account, it shows me that
"1 account was detected that can’t be accessed. Accounts must follow our Commerce Policies and be linked to your Business Account. You can review the accounts below and resolve problems to enable access."
The account associated with the business account has no issue. Then what is it I messing?
