This summer, Free Listings will now appear in main Google search results on the Product Knowledge Panels in Mobile devices across the US. This news is another attempt to help medium and small businesses during the slow economy as a consequence of Covid-19 pandemic.

Google has decided to list the Google Ads under the “Ads” badge on Google Search Results and Google Shopping through desktops as opposed to the “Sponsored” tag it used to be. Search results made through mobiles, already displayed “Ads” for text and product Ads alike. This will be now extended to Desktop for both kinds of Google Ads to streamline the experience. Earlier only Text Ads appeared with the “Ad” badge for desktop.
The changes have already appeared on the main search results page since the start of July. They will be reflected on Shopping tab and in Image Search results in the near future.
