Walmart Embraces Amazon MCF: A New Era of Cross-Platform Fulfillment for eCommerce
Walmart Marketplace has revamped its Pro Seller Program, bringing new benefits and metrics designed to reward top-performing sellers even more. These updates will be effective from September 26, 2024. The latest incentives and tiers of the Pro Seller Program updates can help existing and new Walmart Marketplace sellers scale their business. Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can expect.

Walmart’s Pro Seller program now introduces a tiered system designed to help sellers progress through three levels: Rising Seller, Advanced Seller, and Pro Seller. Each tier comes with its own set of metrics that sellers must meet to unlock various benefits.
Two new metrics have been introduced in the program:

Additionally, the Price Competitiveness Score requires sellers across all levels to maintain a score of at least 60%, pushing sellers to stay competitive with their pricing.
To qualify for these tiers, sellers must have completed over 100 orders, have been active in the last 90 days, and adhere to all marketplace policies. These foundational criteria ensure that sellers are consistently engaged and follow Walmart’s standards, providing a strong platform for growth as they move up the levels.
Please note: Using Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) can help sellers meet these new requirements easily.
Before the Pro Seller Program focused heavily on badge visibility and customer trust metrics, but financial incentives were minimal. But, now the updated program provides tangible savings with referral fee discounts, making it far more appealing.

The goal of the update is to offer sellers better tools to grow profit margins and improve their competitive edge. Explore the Walmart Pro Seller Program updates by visiting the official page here.
