Walmart also introduced its revamped Listing Quality Dashboard that assists you in gaining the Pro Seller Badge quickly. The updated Listing Quality Dashboard provides better insights into Listing quality scores to the sellers, hence helping them acquire the pro seller badge.
Providing a global platform to millions of sellers, Walmart respects each one’s Intellectual Property rights. Hence, to protect those rights, Walmart IP Claim forms to the owner of these rights. These forms assist owners in reporting legitimate claims of infringement for the items listed on Walmart.com. As per these claims, every seller is provided with exclusive Intellectual Property rights over their creations. These include copyright, trademark, patent, publicity, and counterfeit claims.
Walmart protects its sellers against unauthorized claims and takes actions against the parties that fall under the category of repetitive infringers.

Walmart introduced an exciting update to make the returns and disputes process much easier for Marketplace sellers. You can now switch to initiating disputes directly from the Payments dashboard in the Seller Center instead of choosing the Seller Help dispute process. Now activate your disputes right from the Payments dashboard by simply selecting the Payments option under the Analytics & Reports tab.
Walmart introduced the new sellers’ savings program as a perfect opportunity for the merchants who wanted to expand to the marketplace. The New Sellers Saving program provided commission-free selling for 30 days.
The sellers had to meet certain conditions to avail of the limited-period opportunity. Once approved, the sellers could onboard quickly as well as list their entire catalog to maximize their 30 days of commission-free selling.
As one of the 2021 updates, Walmart invited non-US-based international sellers to sell on Walmart!
Walmart recalled its limitation of only allowing US-based businesses to sell on the marketplace and enabled all non-US sellers to expand their businesses by leaps and bounds. To assure Walmart’s promise of quality, all applicants are to be carefully vetted, both locally and by Walmart’s global trust and safety team.
Walmart also updated their Order Cancellation Codes from 3rd May onwards. Any cancelation codes marked “removed” from the chart mentioned below are no longer in progress and show “error” if used. The Newly Introduced cancellation code SELLER_CANCEL_ADDRESS_NOT_SERVICABLE is now applicable when the addresses entered by customers are invalid or have changed due to some reason which was not notified to the seller.
CedCommerce has also updated Order Cancellation Codes in its Walmart Integration App. In the Order section, you can find the updated codes while canceling orders from the Walmart Integration app.
Walmart introduced its Machine Learning-based Smart Tags for TwoDay shipping. These tags come with numerous advantages, such as enhanced Buy Box prominence, better product visibility, and higher customer conversions. The new Smart Tags enable you to avail all the benefits of Walmart’s TwoDay shipping tag as Machine Learning does all the work.
These Machine Learning based Smart Tags are integrated within the marketplace that sense how expedited Shipping works best for your catalog. The smart tags attach the TwoDay delivery tag to each of your qualifying items, with at least a 95% success rate.
