Overview
Advance Rate Shipping for Magento is a csv based shipping method which provides the facility of adding multiple rates, to the admin. Admin can set these rates according to country, region, city, zip code, weight or cart subtotal or quantity. He can define the rates using any combination of region, city, zip code, etc. simultaneously.
Admin needs to upload his CSV file with the rate calculation information. His customers will then start get custom shipping rates on frontend. Admin can also export the rate information in the form of CSV file and can restrict the rate calculation process by weight or cart subtotal or the quantity.

- Admin gets the authority to create as many custom rates via csv file as he wishes.
- Rates can be created by selecting any condition like country, region, city, zip code with weight or cart subtotal or quantity one at a time.
- Free shipping option can also be enabled by admin with this module.
- Admin gets the facility to set maximum allowed weight and minimum order amount for free shipping.
- Virtual and downloadable products can be either skipped or used by the admin for the calculation of shipping rate.
- Even after setting the rate admin can restrict the shipping country as per his need.
