Reading Time: 18 minutes

Tariffs. AI-driven marketplace algorithms. Rising acquisition costs. And shoppers spreading holiday purchases across more channels and a longer buying window. For merchants, Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) 2026 is shaping up to be another highly competitive sales season. The Black Friday weekend used to be the Super Bowl of eCommerce, an intense, four-day push of deals and discounts.

Pre BFCM 2025 Preparation Stats(Shift in BFCM 2025 early shopper behaviour and projected revenue)

The shift? BFCM is now a multi-month sprint where the best-prepared sellers can capture demand before competitors launch their biggest discounts.

Why the shift?

  • Fear of stockouts: Popular products may sell out before peak shopping days, encouraging customers to buy earlier.
  • Early marketplace promotions: Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and other marketplaces increasingly begin holiday promotions well before BFCM weekend.
  • Rising ad competition: Advertising competition becomes significantly more intense as Black Friday approaches.
  • More shopping channels: Customers can now discover and purchase the same or similar products across marketplaces, social commerce platforms, and DTC stores.

The implication is clear, though that merchants who start preparing early for BFCM can spread risk, improve operations, and capture demand before the November rush begins.

When Is BFCM 2026?

BFCM 2026 runs from Friday, November 27 through Monday, November 30, 2026.

  • Thanksgiving 2026: Thursday, November 26
  • Black Friday 2026: Friday, November 27
  • Cyber Monday 2026: Monday, November 30

Here’s our suggested BFCM preparation timeline:

Month Primary Focus
September Inventory, catalog, channel, and campaign planning
October Marketplace listings, fulfillment, testing, and audience building
November Promotions, final inventory checks, campaigns, and operational readiness
November 27–30 Monitor sales, inventory, listings, orders, and advertising
December Continue holiday selling, manage returns, and analyze performance

Why Start Early? Core Merchant Advantages

Starting early helps you secure advantages that become increasingly difficult to recover once November arrives.

Whether you are a Shopify DTC brand or a multi-marketplace seller, early preparation gives you more control over inventory, marketing costs, listings, and operations while competitors are still scrambling to get ready.

1. Get First Dibs on Inventory and Supplier Capacity

One of the biggest risks during BFCM is running out of stock on your hero products.

When your strongest products are sold out before Cyber Monday, shoppers are unlikely to wait. They can switch to another brand or marketplace within minutes.

Early planning ensures you are closer to the front of the supplier queue. By September, you can:

  • Negotiate better unit costs by ordering in advance.
  • Build buffer stock for shipping or supplier delays.
  • Run demand forecasts using historical BFCM and recent sales data.
  • Identify which products deserve additional inventory before peak season.

Action Step: Build a list of your highest-priority BFCM SKUs and forecast inventory at the SKU level instead of treating your entire catalog equally.

CedCommerce Tip: For multichannel sellers, inventory planning should also account for where products will be sold. UniCon helps sellers manage products and inventory across connected marketplaces so stock remains easier to monitor as orders begin arriving from multiple channels.

2. Lower Your Marketing Costs Before the Auction Frenzy

Every seller wants a slice of BFCM traffic, and advertising competition rises as Black Friday approaches.

By starting in September–October, you can:

  • Build audiences before peak competition.
  • Warm up your email and SMS lists with teasers and early-access offers.
  • Test creative formats before the highest-stakes weeks.
  • Identify which products and offers are actually converting.
  • Build retargeting audiences before November.

For Shopify DTC sellers, October can be used to introduce gift guides, early-access lists, product education, and holiday-focused landing pages.

For marketplace sellers, smaller pre-BFCM promotions can also help identify which products have the strongest demand before larger campaigns begin.

3. More Time to Test, Optimize, and Automate

The BFCM rush will expose weaknesses in your store and operations.

Shoppers will not tolerate slow pages, broken discount codes, unavailable products, failed payments, or inaccurate delivery information when alternatives are one click away.

Starting early gives you time to test:

  • Site performance: Check loading speed and mobile experience.
  • Checkout flow: Test checkout, guest checkout, discount codes, and address fields.
  • Payment mix: Make sure the payment options your customers expect are available.
  • Automation: Review abandoned-cart, browse-abandonment, and early-access flows.
  • Marketplace listings: Confirm priority listings are published and error-free.
  • Inventory synchronization: Make sure stock updates correctly across connected channels.
  • Order routing: Test how orders move from each sales channel into fulfillment.

Finding these problems in September or October gives you time to fix them before they become lost revenue.

CedCommerce tip: Merchants using our store optimization suite can simulate high-traffic events in advance, ensuring infrastructure holds up during peak days.

The BFCM 2026 Checklist: Month-by-Month Playbook

Different activities matter at different stages, hence do not approach BFCM preparation as one long checklist.

September should focus on foundations. October should move into implementation. November should prioritize execution. And once BFCM begins, your attention should shift toward monitoring operations in real time.

September BFCM Checklist: Build the Foundation

September is where you should make the major decisions that determine how the rest of the season will operate.

Review Last Year’s Performance

Start with your own data.

Review:

  • Best-selling SKUs
  • Highest-margin products
  • Products that experienced stockouts
  • Average order value
  • Conversion rates
  • Return rates
  • Marketplace-specific sales
  • Advertising performance
  • New versus returning customers

Use this information to create a shortlist of products that deserve most of your BFCM investment.

Rather than spreading inventory and advertising equally across your entire catalog, create a Top BFCM SKU list that will anchor your campaigns.

Forecast Inventory

Estimate demand using:

  • Previous holiday sales
  • Recent sales velocity
  • Planned promotions
  • Current marketplace performance
  • Year-over-year growth
  • Planned expansion into additional sales channels

Review supplier lead times and establish additional buffer stock for your most important products.

Audit Your Product Catalog

Before increasing traffic, make sure your product information is ready.

Review:

  • Product titles
  • Descriptions
  • Images
  • Variants
  • SKUs
  • GTINs or other identifiers
  • Pricing
  • Categories
  • Product attributes
  • Inventory
  • Shipping information

Marketplace sellers should pay particular attention to category-specific attributes.

A product that is complete on Amazon or Shopify may still need different categories, attributes, variations, or listing content before it can be published on another marketplace.

Decide Where Your Products Should Sell

BFCM demand can come up across channels. Even if your strongest products already sell successfully on Amazon, Walmart, or Shopify, September is a good time to determine whether they should also be available through additional channels.

Depending on your business, that could include:

  • eBay
  • TikTok Shop
  • SHEIN
  • Temu
  • Target Plus

Please note: You do not need to list every SKU on every marketplace. Start with products that already have proven demand, reliable inventory, healthy margins, and complete product information.

Start Your BFCM Campaign Calendar

Map the promotional period before you begin producing individual campaigns. Your calendar may include:

  • Early-access campaigns
  • Email and SMS warm-up
  • Product launches
  • Early Black Friday offers
  • Black Friday campaigns
  • Weekend promotions
  • Cyber Monday campaigns
  • Extended Cyber Week offers
  • December holiday campaigns

Once dates are mapped, work backwards to set deadlines for creative, landing pages, emails, marketplace promotions, and inventory.

October BFCM Checklist: Get Your Sales Channels Ready

October is where preparation moves from planning to implementation. By the end of the month, your priority products should ideally be listed, campaigns should be prepared, inventory should be allocated, and fulfillment workflows should be tested.

Get Your BFCM Catalog Live Across the Right Channels

If your highest-performing products are already selling successfully on one marketplace, October is the time to get selected products ready for additional channels.

Do not wait until Black Friday week to start creating marketplace listings.

Every marketplace may require different:

  • Categories
  • Attributes
  • Product identifiers
  • Titles
  • Descriptions
  • Images
  • Variations
  • Compliance information

Creating and correcting this information marketplace by marketplace can quickly become a bottleneck. Start with your highest-value products and work toward getting them live before November.

Get Your Catalog Listed on More Channels Before Peak Demand

For multichannel sellers, ask:

Are your strongest products available across the channels where your customers are likely to shop?

UniCon helps sellers use an existing catalog from Amazon, Walmart, or Shopify to prepare and manage products across additional marketplaces including eBay, TikTok Shop, SHEIN, Temu, and Target Plus.

UniCon AI can help predict marketplace-specific category and attribute mappings, while pre-publish validation can surface missing or mismatched information before it becomes a listing error.

You can also prepare channel-specific listing content and manage connected product, inventory, and order operations from one system.

Rather than publishing your entire catalog everywhere, the goal is to take the products that already perform and make them ready for the channels that see demand before the peak time arrives.

Fix Marketplace Listing Errors Before November

A listing sitting inside your marketplace dashboard is not necessarily a listing customers can buy. Prioritize issues affecting the products you expect to promote most heavily.

Review priority SKUs for:

  • Missing attributes
  • Incorrect category mapping
  • Invalid identifiers
  • Variation issues
  • Image problems
  • Pricing errors
  • Marketplace warnings
  • Inventory mismatches
  • Unpublished or suppressed items

Sync Inventory Across Channels

Selling on more channels increases inventory risk if stock updates do not move quickly between marketplaces. If Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, eBay, TikTok Shop, or other channels are drawing from the same inventory, a unit sold in one place needs to be reflected elsewhere.

Before BFCM:

  • Confirm the inventory source for each channel.
  • Test inventory updates.
  • Review stock buffers.
  • Decide how low-stock products should be handled.
  • Test what happens when inventory reaches zero.

Prepare Fulfillment

More sales channels should not automatically require separate fulfillment operations for every marketplace. Review how orders from each channel will be fulfilled.

Depending on channel eligibility and the fulfillment network you already use, eligible orders from other marketplaces may be fulfilled using existing inventory through programs such as Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) or Walmart Multichannel Solutions (MCS). Learn how you can do this on UniCon via this guide.

Before peak season, test:

  • Eligible channels
  • Available inventory
  • Delivery speeds
  • Fulfillment costs
  • Order routing
  • Tracking updates
  • Cancellations
  • Exception handling

Finalize Promotions

October is also the right time to decide what customers will actually be offered.

Consider:

  • Tiered discounts
  • Bundles
  • Buy-more-save-more promotions
  • Gift-with-purchase offers
  • Free shipping thresholds
  • Early-access promotions
  • VIP discounts
  • Marketplace-specific offers

Make sure every discount still makes sense once marketplace fees, fulfillment, advertising, and returns are considered.

Build Your Audience

Start warming your audience before November.

Use October to:

  • Grow email and SMS lists.
  • Build early-access lists.
  • Segment previous BFCM customers.
  • Identify VIP customers.
  • Retarget recent visitors.
  • Build product-interest segments.
  • Test creative and messaging.
  • Prepare abandoned-cart and browse-abandonment flows.

Test Your Store and Checkout

Test the complete buying journey before additional traffic arrives.

Review:

  • Mobile experience
  • Product pages
  • Cart
  • Discount codes
  • Checkout
  • Payment methods
  • Shipping calculations
  • Confirmation emails
  • Tracking pages

November BFCM Checklist: Move Into Execution

By November, your focus should shift toward launching campaigns and protecting revenue.

Complete a Final Inventory Check

Review every priority SKU and separate products into:

  • Well stocked
  • Limited stock
  • High stock
  • At risk of stockout

Adjust campaigns accordingly. Why spend aggressively to promote a product that is likely to run out before your largest campaigns begin?

Confirm Priority Listings Are Live

Review the marketplaces where your BFCM products are available.

Check:

  • Listing status
  • Inventory
  • Price
  • Images
  • Variants
  • Shipping details
  • Promotions
  • Suppression or marketplace errors

Finalize Your Campaign Schedule

Your campaign calendar should now be locked.

Prepare:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • Marketplace promotions
  • Paid search
  • Paid social
  • Retargeting
  • Affiliate or creator campaigns
  • Website banners
  • Landing pages

Also decide which metrics determine whether you increase, pause, or change a campaign.

Confirm Shipping Cutoffs

Make delivery expectations clear.

Display important shipping information across:

  • Product pages
  • Cart
  • Checkout
  • FAQs
  • Promotional emails

Coordinate with fulfillment partners and carriers before publishing promises to customers.

Prepare Customer Support

Make sure your support team is ready for common questions involving:

  • Order status
  • Delivery delays
  • Returns
  • Exchanges
  • Damaged products
  • Promotions
  • Discount codes
  • Cancellations

BFCM Weekend Checklist: November 27–30

Once BFCM begins, your job shifts from preparation to monitoring.

Monitor Inventory

Watch high-volume products closely.

If a SKU approaches stockout:

  • Reduce advertising if necessary.
  • Adjust promotions.
  • Update availability.
  • Push alternative products.
  • Change merchandising placements.

Monitor Marketplace Listings

Check priority listings for:

  • Suppression
  • Pricing problems
  • Inventory errors
  • Variation issues
  • Promotion errors
  • Unexpected status changes

A listing error during BFCM is not simply a catalog issue. It can immediately become a revenue issue.

Monitor Order Flow and Fulfillment

Look for:

  • Orders stuck in processing
  • Fulfillment failures
  • Tracking delays
  • Inventory mismatches
  • Cancellation spikes

Monitor Advertising Performance

Track:

  • Spend
  • Revenue
  • ROAS
  • Conversion rate
  • Cost per acquisition
  • Product-level inventory

Do not continue pushing spend toward products that cannot support additional demand.

Monitor Customer Experience

Watch:

  • Checkout errors
  • Payment failures
  • Support tickets
  • Shipping complaints
  • Out-of-stock pages
  • Website performance

December BFCM Checklist: Continue the Holiday Opportunity

Cyber Monday is not the end of the eCommerce holiday season. December gives merchants an opportunity to continue generating revenue while turning BFCM performance into longer-term learning.

Continue Holiday Selling

Use BFCM data to identify products worth promoting through the rest of the holiday period.

Focus on:

  • Bestsellers
  • Giftable products
  • Bundles
  • Products with strong remaining inventory
  • Products with reliable delivery timelines

Shift messaging from Black Friday urgency toward gifting and delivery.

Prepare for Returns and Exchanges

Make sure:

  • Return policies are easy to find.
  • Support teams understand the process.
  • Returned inventory is reconciled correctly.
  • Marketplace-specific returns can be tracked.

Analyze Marketplace Performance

Compare performance across channels.

Review:

  • Revenue
  • Orders
  • Conversion
  • Average order value
  • Advertising efficiency
  • Fulfillment costs
  • Return rates
  • Margin

Do not evaluate marketplaces on revenue alone.

A lower-volume marketplace may still be valuable if it provides stronger margins or lower customer acquisition costs.

Retain New BFCM Customers

Build post-purchase journeys using:

  • Product education
  • Replenishment reminders
  • Complementary products
  • Review requests
  • Loyalty programs
  • Personalized recommendations
  • New product announcements

Do not treat every BFCM customer as a one-time transaction.

Platform-Specific Early Prep Tactics for BFCM 2026

Every marketplace plays by its own rules. Hence, BFCM prep means understanding what each platform requires and making sure your products and operations are ready well before peak demand.

Shopify / DTC Stores

Shopify merchants control their own brand experience, but they are also competing against rising advertising costs and a crowded holiday promotional calendar.

The earlier you optimize your funnel, the more time you have to test it.

  • Build landing pages early: Create dedicated BFCM pages for your highest-priority offers.
  • Test your storefront: Review mobile performance, site speed, and conversion paths.
  • Email + SMS: Build and segment lists before November.
  • Prepare bundles and upsells: Make it easy for customers to increase basket size.
  • Review checkout: Test payments, discounts, shipping, and confirmation flows.

If Shopify is your primary catalog, also decide which products should be available on additional marketplaces before BFCM.

Pro Tip: Use CedCommerce’s Shopify services to sync promotions across your DTC store and marketplaces, ensuring brand consistency.

Amazon

Amazon sellers should prepare inventory and listings well ahead of peak demand.

Review:

  • FBA inventory
  • Sales velocity
  • Listing quality
  • A+ content
  • Product images
  • Promotions
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Inventory forecasts
  • Featured Offer eligibility
  • Listing status

If Amazon is your source catalog, you can also evaluate whether successful Amazon products should be expanded onto additional marketplaces rather than rebuilding those product records manually.

Pro Tip: Use CedCommerce’s Amazon growth suite of services to optimize your inventory, product listing, and order fulfillment for BFCM 2026 and beyond.

Walmart, Etsy, and eBay

These marketplaces have their own catalog structures, promotional tools, and seller requirements.

Before BFCM:

  • Review marketplace-specific holiday promotions.
  • Update relevant titles, tags, item specifics, and attributes.
  • Confirm pricing.
  • Review shipping policies.
  • Make sure inventory is synchronized.
  • Resolve unpublished or incomplete products.
  • Identify which strong-performing products can be cross-listed to additional channels.

Pro Tip: CedCommerce’s bulk listing tool lets you push updates across marketplaces in one go. Know More!

TikTok Shop, SHEIN, and Temu

Discovery-oriented marketplaces require both catalog readiness and strong product presentation.

Prepare:

  • Priority products
  • Required categories and attributes
  • Inventory
  • Promotional offers
  • Short-form content
  • Creator or affiliate campaigns where relevant
  • Fulfillment
  • Listing approvals

For TikTok Shop, batch product demos, UGC-style videos, and other campaign assets before November so your content calendar is not being created at the same time as BFCM operations are peaking.

For SHEIN and Temu, start catalog preparation early enough to resolve marketplace-specific product data requirements before November.

Smart Merchandising & Product Prioritization for BFCM 2026

During BFCM, attention is scarce. Promoting your entire catalog can spread inventory and advertising budgets too thin. Merchants should instead focus on the products most likely to generate profitable sales.

1. Identify High-Value SKUs With Data, Not Gut Feel

Instead of guessing which products will sell, use your own data:

  • LTV net of COGS: Identify products that deliver strong lifetime value after costs.
  • Repeat purchase rate: Highlight products customers regularly repurchase.
  • Past BFCM uplift: Review which SKUs performed particularly well during previous holiday periods.
  • Current sales velocity: Look at products already building demand heading into Q4.
  • Margin: Make sure promotional products can absorb the discount and acquisition costs.

Action Step: Build a Top BFCM SKU list to anchor homepage placements, marketplace expansion, promotions, and advertising.

Shopify LTV, AOV & More Stats to monitor for BFCM 2025

2. Bundle Smarter to Grow AOV

Bundles can increase basket size while also helping move complementary inventory.

Consider:

  • Pair high + low: Combine popular products with slower-moving SKUs.
  • Holiday bundles: Create gift-ready sets.
  • Tiered bundles: Reward customers for purchasing additional units.

Pre-build bundles before November and make sure inventory for every component can support the expected demand.

Pre-build bundles using CedCommerce apps like Amazon Shopify Integration. For marketplace sellers, replicate bundles across Amazon, Walmart, and Etsy to maintain consistency.

3. Merchandise With Purposeful Storytelling

The way you present your products matters.

Consider:

  • Homepage hero products: Put priority SKUs front and center.
  • Urgency messaging: Highlight limited inventory or time-sensitive offers carefully.
  • Seasonal imagery: Show products in relevant holiday or gifting contexts.
  • Marketplace content: Update listing content and imagery where appropriate.

Optimize your D2C store with BFCM-specific themes, product pages, and layouts with our Shopify experts.

4. Operationalize Your Merchandising Decisions

Merchandising should connect directly with operations.

Use your priority products to guide:

  • Demand forecasting
  • Inventory allocation
  • Advertising budgets
  • Marketplace expansion
  • Bundles
  • Cross-sells
  • Fulfillment planning

Pricing & Promotion Strategy: Tiered, Bundled & VIP-Driven Offers

Discounts are powerful, but poor discount planning can quickly reduce margins. The strongest BFCM offers should balance customer appeal with profitability.

1. Tiered Discounts

Tiered discounts encourage customers to spend more to unlock a larger saving.

For example:

  • 10% off above $100
  • 20% off above $200
  • 25% off above $300

Map thresholds against your existing AOV rather than choosing arbitrary amounts.

2. Volume Discounts

Volume promotions can work particularly well for consumables, accessories, apparel basics, or products with repeat-purchase potential.

Examples include:

  • Buy 2, save 15%
  • Buy 3, save 20%
  • Buy 3, get 1 free

Calculate COGS, fulfillment, and marketplace fees before finalizing the offer.

3. VIP and Early-Access Offers

You do not have to offer the same promotion to every customer.

Consider:

  • VIP early access
  • Loyalty-member offers
  • Early-access email campaigns

These campaigns can help you start converting demand before peak advertising competition begins.

Shipping & Payment Readiness

A strong storefront can still lose a sale if shipping expectations are unclear or payment fails.

Preparing these systems early helps reduce avoidable friction during peak demand.

1. Shipping: Set Expectations and Build Resilience

Before BFCM:

  • Offer appropriate shipping choices.
  • Display important cutoff dates.
  • Review backup carrier options where relevant.
  • Confirm warehouse or fulfillment capacity.
  • Test tracking updates.
  • Make delivery expectations easy to find.

For multichannel sellers, also make sure fulfillment rules are clear for every marketplace.

If you use Amazon FBA or Walmart Fulfillment Services, evaluate whether eligible off-marketplace orders can be supported through Amazon MCF or Walmart MCS as part of your multichannel fulfillment strategy.

2. Payments: Remove Unnecessary Friction

Make sure customers can use the payment methods they expect.

Review:

  • Major cards
  • Digital wallets
  • Buy Now, Pay Later options where appropriate
  • Fraud prevention
  • Failed-payment handling
  • Mobile checkout

Test the complete checkout flow across the devices and regions that matter most to your business.

CedCommerce integrations allow you to sync shipping rules and payment configurations across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, eBay, Etsy, and other leading marketplaces. This ensures that every channel delivers a consistent, reliable checkout experience.

How UniCon Can Support Multichannel BFCM Operations

For merchants selling across multiple channels, BFCM creates a different type of operational challenge.

Products may exist across several marketplaces. Each channel may require different catalog data. Inventory can be shared between listings. Orders can come in from several destinations at once. And fulfillment decisions need to happen quickly.

UniCon is built to help merchants connect these operations.

Depending on your source catalog, marketplaces, and setup, UniCon can support:

  • Cross-listing products across marketplaces
  • AI-assisted category and attribute mapping
  • Channel-specific AI listing content
  • Pre-publish validation
  • Inventory synchronization
  • Product and order management
  • Multichannel fulfillment workflows
  • Amazon MCF-supported fulfillment use cases
  • Walmart MCS-supported fulfillment use cases
  • Marketplace operations from one connected dashboard

For BFCM, the best starting point is straightforward:

Choose the products you want to prioritize, decide where you want them available, and complete the catalog and operational work before peak demand arrives.

BFCM 2026 FAQs

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27.

When is Cyber Monday 2026?

Cyber Monday 2026 falls on Monday, November 30.

When should I start preparing for BFCM 2026?

September is a practical starting point for many merchants because it leaves time to plan inventory, audit catalogs, prepare campaigns, expand to additional marketplaces, and test fulfillment before November.

Businesses with longer manufacturing or supplier lead times may need to begin earlier.

What should I do for BFCM in September?

September should focus on foundations.

Review previous performance, identify priority products, forecast inventory, audit catalog data, choose the marketplaces you want to sell through, and build your promotional calendar.

What should I do for BFCM in October?

October should focus on implementation.

Publish marketplace listings, resolve catalog errors, synchronize inventory, test fulfillment, prepare promotions, build audiences, and test your storefront and checkout.

What should I do for BFCM in November?

November should focus on execution.

Complete final inventory and listing checks, launch campaigns, confirm shipping cutoffs, prepare support teams, and closely monitor operations as demand increases.

How early should marketplace listings be live for BFCM?

Priority products should ideally be live well before Black Friday.

Getting listings published during October gives sellers more time to resolve marketplace errors, complete missing attributes, test inventory updates, and validate order and fulfillment workflows.

Should I sell on more marketplaces before BFCM?

Only where doing so makes operational and commercial sense.

Rather than publishing your entire catalog everywhere, begin with products that already have proven demand, sufficient inventory, healthy margins, and complete product information.

How can I reduce overselling during BFCM?

Keep inventory synchronized across connected channels, establish safety stock where needed, monitor fast-moving products closely, and make sure stock changes are reflected across marketplaces using the same inventory.

What should I do after Cyber Monday?

Continue holiday campaigns where demand remains strong, prepare for returns, reconcile inventory, compare channel performance, and build post-purchase campaigns designed to turn BFCM customers into repeat buyers.

Final BFCM 2026 Readiness Check

Before Black Friday arrives, ask:

  • Are my priority products sufficiently stocked?
  • Are the listings I plan to promote live?
  • Are prices and promotions correct?
  • Is inventory synchronizing across channels?
  • Have fulfillment workflows been tested?
  • Are advertising campaigns ready?
  • Are email and SMS campaigns scheduled?
  • Have checkout and payment methods been tested?
  • Are shipping promises realistic?
  • Is customer support prepared?
  • Do we know which metrics will be monitored during BFCM?

The goal of early BFCM preparation is to complete the right work early enough that when demand arrives, your team can focus on selling instead of fixing avoidable problems.
