About Buyer Seller Chat
Using the Buyer Seller Chat add-on, customers and sellers will be able to initiate live chat and get instant reply. When a customer views a particular product, then a chat option will be available to them.
Buyer Seller Chat
The buyer can chat with any seller and ask about their product on the marketplace.
Chat Notification
The buyer and seller both will be notified when a new message arrived by the bell icon.
Chat History
The seller and customers can view their chat history, chat date and time form their panel.
Overview
Through the Buyer Seller Chat Addon, the customer talks to the seller/vendor directly over the chat establishing real-time communication between the buyer and the seller. Customers can ask questions by directly chatting with the seller of the products. Vendors can communicate with the buyers if the buyers chatted previously. Sellers get to see the buyer list and chat history in the Chat Management Customer Chat Section. Sellers can also search the record using filters based on the column name.
Admin
- Admin Can Enable/Disable the Buyer Seller Chat System from the configuration.
- Admin can set the Buyer Seller Chat Title name.
- Admin is able to see the seller and customer chat and also chat dates.
Vendor
- The vendor can chat with buyers in a synchronous way.
- Support to handle multiple buyer chats.
- Vendor gets the notification on the bell icon with the number of customer chats immediately when a new message is set for him.
- Vendors can see the number of unread messages.
- Vendors can see the buyer email ID and Product ID during the chatting time.
- Vendors can change the chat status Active(online), Inactive(offline) from the vendor edit profile section.
- When Vendor sets Active status, then it’ll display “Vendor is Online” at the buyer chat panel.
- When Vendor sets Inactive status then vendors can initiate an offline chat with the customers and at the buyer panel the Vendor Status will display “Vendor is Offline”.
- The vendor profile image will be displayed on the chat panel.
Customer
- The Buyer gets an instant reply from the vendors.
- The customer/buyer can initiate chat with multiple vendors.
- Customers can see the seller's name during chatting time.
- Customers can initiate the chat directly with the expected sellers.
- Customers get the notification on the bell icon with the number of seller’s messages.
- Customers can see the seller name when clicking on the notification icon.
- To initiate a chat with the seller, customers must be signed in.
