It is here where the Category Attribute Mapping Add-on finds its utility. Category Attribute Mapping Add-on enables you to map categories with your choice of attribute set such that when you select that category, while creating a product, only the associated set of attributes are shown on the product creation form. Thus, this add-on targets all those vendors who want to assign their products to a particular attribute.

If no category is mapped with an attribute set then the default attribute set is selected for the product
