AliExpress is bringing the 11.11 Global Shopping Festival to the UK, offering shoppers one of the best shopping experiences of the year with discounts, prizes, and livestreams. The event started on November 8, with up to 80% off on products. The offer spanned across categories like tech, home, fashion, beauty, and more. Furthermore, running from November 11 to 18, the event leads into Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, extending through December 3.
A recent survey by AliExpress among 2,000 UK consumers reveals that 25% of Brits rarely buy gifts for themselves. The reasons include budget constraints (22%) and guilt (11%). Moreover, with this festival, AliExpress encourages shoppers to indulge in self-care without overspending, providing unbeatable prices on a vast range of items.
This year’s 11.11 Global Shopping Festival includes the “Shake and Win” feature, adding an interactive element for shoppers. By shaking their phones once a day, customers can unlock daily rewards, from discount coupons to physical prizes. Prizes include discounts from brands like Hello Fresh, Train Pal, and Hungry Panda. They also include signed merchandise and tour tickets from British singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins.
Building on the success of its UK livestream launch, AliExpress has hosted its first fashion livestream on November 10 at 8 PM GMT. It showcased new arrivals in fashion and accessories. The series will feature over 400 curated styles, along with live discounts for the AliExpress app and TikTok channel viewers. Starting November 12, a four-hour livestream will air daily at 12 PM GMT, featuring affordable products for shoppers.
Bonnie Zhao, General Manager at AliExpress UK, states that the 11.11 Shopping Festival marks the beginning of an extended festive shopping season, offering incredible discounts on popular brands and trending products while focusing on delivering a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
