About the role
Does the world of social media excite you to dig more about it? Then this is the right position for you. We are hiring a Social Media Expert who combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue.
Responsibilities
- Creates marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules
- Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various clients, including advertising, product development, and brand management
- Collects customer data and analyses interactions and visits, plus uses this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
- Grows and expands company social media presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram through organic and paid activities
- Researches and monitors activity of company competitors
- Interacting with customers and dealing with customers’ enquiries
- Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
- Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s brand and social media strategy
- Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
- Managing a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
- Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
- Collaborating with colleagues from across marketing departments to ensure branding is consistent
- Meeting with clients and pitching potential marketing campaigns.
Technical Requirements
- A knowledge of and an interest in the methods organisations use to promote themselves through social media is a necessity
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Photo and video-editing experience
- Analytical ability
- An ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once
- Expert level skills in using and navigating social media networks’ native web apps, 3rd party social media tools, and “the internet” to run it all.
- Marketing Mind, Strategic Thinking, Relationship Building
- Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
- Ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once.
Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field.
