Shopify decided to pull the plug on its official sales channel app for Amazon. The Amazon by CedCommerce for Shopify app, launched last year, was pitched in as an alternative in response to this.
As of February 25, 2023, the New and Improved version of Amazon by CedCommerce is now known as “CedCommerce Amazon Channel”.
Announced on new year’s day, the news of the Amazon By Cedcommerce app being made free came as a fantastic surprise. Especially for sellers who were concerned about the new bills coming their way right after the Holiday season rush. CedCommerce declared several reasons behind this decision.
