Amazon has officially launched its Spring Deal Days shopping event, offering customers access to hundreds of thousands of deals across multiple categories with discounts reaching up to 40% off. The seven-day event began this week and will run until March 16, 2026, providing shoppers across the UK with major savings on everyday essentials, technology, household items, and more.
The promotional event reinforces Amazon’s strategy of using seasonal deal campaigns to drive customer engagement, boost sales across product categories, and help sellers increase visibility on the platform.
According to research conducted by Amazon, UK shoppers are increasingly prioritising value when making purchasing decisions. The company reports that 64% of consumers actively stock up on everyday products when they see them discounted, highlighting the growing importance of promotional shopping events.
Spring Deal Days is designed to meet this demand by offering discounts across a wide range of essential products, including:
Brands such as Bose, Elemis, ghd, Ninja, Oral-B, Sony, Tommee Tippee, and Pampers are participating in the event, offering discounted prices on thousands of items.
John Boumphrey, UK Country Manager at Amazon, noted that customers increasingly rely on the platform for value-focused shopping.
“Customers count on Amazon for great value every day, and Spring Deal Days offers even more ways to save. We’re offering hundreds of thousands of deals across every category, helping people get more for their money.”
Amazon’s Spring Deal Days spans nearly every major product category on the platform. Several deal highlights have already been announced.
Customers can save up to 45% on household products, including cleaning supplies, health items, beauty products, and grocery staples.
Popular brands included in this category include CeraVe, Tassimo, and Sheba, giving shoppers opportunities to stock up on commonly purchased items at discounted prices.
Amazon will release new limited-time deals twice daily at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., offering discounts across beauty, fashion, home, and technology.
Featured brands include:
These time-limited offers are expected to drive high engagement as shoppers monitor deal drops throughout the event.
Customers can enjoy up to 40% discounts on select Amazon devices, including:
Fire tablets designed for families are also heavily discounted, with Fire HD 8 Kids and Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablets receiving up to 60% off.
Tech shoppers can access up to 30% off Samsung products and up to 25% off gaming accessories, positioning the event as an opportunity for consumers to upgrade electronics at reduced prices.
The event also features discounts designed for seasonal home upgrades. Customers can save up to 25% on smart home devices and other products designed to refresh homes and gardens ahead of spring.
Amazon has partnered with several grocery retailers to expand the range of discounts available during the event.
Customers can access:
Alongside Spring Deal Days, Amazon has also launched The Big Book Sale, running until March 31.
The promotion includes:
Popular titles included in the sale feature works from authors such as Matt Haig, Rebecca Yarros, Douglas Stuart, and Taylor Jenkins Reid.
Amazon is also extending savings through additional initiatives during the event.
Shoppers can receive up to 40% off items within Amazon Haul, subject to minimum purchase requirements.
Customers can access 20% discounts on used, returned, or open-box products through Amazon Resale, providing opportunities to purchase discounted items that are still in excellent condition.
To help customers find the best offers during the event, Amazon is integrating its AI-powered shopping tools.
Amazon’s conversational shopping assistant Rufus can help shoppers locate relevant deals by answering questions such as:
“What are the best running trainer deals for marathon runners?”
Another tool, Amazon Lens, allows users to take a photo of a product and quickly identify it on Amazon to check whether it is available at a discounted price.
These tools are designed to streamline deal discovery and make the shopping experience more personalised.
While the event is open to all customers, members of Amazon Prime receive additional benefits, including fast, free One-Day Delivery on eligible products.
Same-Day Delivery is also available on more than one million items across over 80 UK towns and cities, depending on order value and availability.
Customers can also opt for delivery through Amazon Lockers or Counters, or schedule deliveries using Amazon Day to consolidate shipments.
Promotional events such as Spring Deal Days play a crucial role in Amazon’s marketplace ecosystem.
For sellers, these seasonal campaigns provide opportunities to:
With millions of customers actively searching for deals during promotional periods, participating in large-scale events like Spring Deal Days can significantly boost listing traffic and conversions.
As competition within eCommerce continues to intensify, large promotional campaigns remain one of Amazon’s key strategies for driving platform activity while helping sellers capture demand from price-sensitive shoppers.
