General Jim’s Toys & Bricks is a US-based toy and building block brand offering construction sets, military-themed models, educational toys, and creative play products for children, collectors, and hobby enthusiasts. The brand has built a strong, distinctive catalog rooted in creativity, hands-on learning, and imaginative play, earning a loyal following among builders and collectors alike.
Despite an established presence on the Walmart Marketplace, many of General Jim’s listings lacked the optimization needed to maximize discoverability, conversion, and long-term growth. The opportunity was clear: leverage the account’s full potential by strengthening listing quality, improving marketplace visibility, and building a scalable advertising framework capable of supporting both organic and paid growth.
When the engagement began in September 2025, General Jim’s had a live, functioning Walmart account, but several performance limitations were holding it back from reaching its full potential. The core challenge was to convert an established-but-underoptimized catalog into a conversion-ready, search-visible, and advertising-supported growth engine.
While the brand already had quality products and marketplace presence, the account lacked the optimization foundation needed to scale efficiently.
Our strategy paired large-scale listing optimization with a phased advertising rollout — improving conversion readiness first, then scaling visibility through paid media. The goal was sustainable growth across both organic and paid channels, not short-term traffic spikes.
Over a two-month window, our team optimized 200 product listings across the catalog — refining titles, enhancing descriptions, sharpening key features, correcting attributes, improving keyword relevance, and standardizing listing structure to strengthen Walmart search visibility and conversion.
Because stronger content directly impacts Walmart indexing, visibility, and customer experience, we prioritized lifting both quality scores. Content Quality Score climbed from 78% to 90.76%, and Listing Quality Score rose from 48% to 68% — building a healthier foundation for long-term organic growth.
Once the optimization phase was complete, we launched Walmart advertising in December 2025. Rather than sending traffic to under-optimized pages, campaigns were introduced only after conversion readiness was established — then focused on visibility, qualified traffic, organic ranking support, and attributed sales.
We continuously tracked sales growth, content and listing quality, advertising efficiency, traffic and engagement trends, and marketplace health metrics — allowing the account to scale while preserving operational performance and customer experience standards.
Strong fulfillment performance, low cancellation rates, and high content quality scores were actively maintained to push the account toward Walmart Pro Seller qualification — securing 5 of the 6 primary requirements during the project period.
