About the role
Adding a new A-player to our team would be a great idea. The main goals are to install last-minute security patches and ensure that existing functionality continues to function correctly. Additionally, you will modify the front-end of the application as well as develop new modules. Responsibilities
- Ensure web and mobile applications are tested to their performance requirements in a timely and thorough manner.
- Identify app architectures, infrastructures, and tech solutions to write a performance test plan.
- Perform performance testing processes, scripts, and workflow design, configuration, and support.
- Streamline performance testing by automating it, decreasing execution time, and increasing its frequency over time.
- Enhance the quality of generated test data by automating the process.
- Analyze performance test results and create meaningful reports to support software release cycles.
Technical Requirements
- Experience writing, updating, and maintaining performance testing scripts.
- Infrastructure workload models design, implementation, and maintenance experience.
- Expertise in Performance Testing; Analysis of production data, and Performance modeling based on business growth and system capacity.
- Knowledge of performance measurement tools such as J Meter, Locust, Neoload, etc.
- Good understanding of both APM tools and monitoring when APM is unavailable.
- Agile software development techniques (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) are required.
- Google Analytics experience.
- Setup and analyze database traces; profile code using tools such as Jprofiler, Yourkit, etc.
- Analysis of thread dumps to identify deadlocks and heap leaves to identify memory issues (at the object level).
- Tuning skills, the configuration of parameters - GC, worker processes, heap size, etc.
- An understanding of GC algorithms and the use of App server and Web server logs are highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of continuous integration tools, such as Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar.
- Certified by ISTQB/ISEB (preferred).
- Experience in Java and application development (preferred).
- An understanding of e-commerce-focused domains is preferred.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors Degree In Information Systems, Computer Science, Or Related Field. (B.Tech/MCA/B.E Or Equivalent).
- 2-5 Years Industry Experience As A Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer
