Amazon is rolling out a major transformation in how third-party developers, agencies, and service providers access Seller Central. Effective August 31, 2025, all third-party SP-API developers must migrate to the Amazon Solution Provider Portal (SPP) to retain access to Selling Partner API (SP-API). Additionally, starting April 10, 2025, all agencies, consultants, and software providers must register on the Solution Provider Portal (SPP) to maintain access to Amazon Seller Central accounts.
This move fundamentally changes how Amazon manages external tools and service providers, enforcing tighter security, compliance, and access control.
The Amazon Solution Provider Portal (SPP) is a centralized gateway for third-party developers and service providers to register, manage integrations, and access Amazon’s marketplace tools. SPP replaces Service Provider Central (SP Central) and brings enhanced compliance, better data access, and API monitoring to streamline Amazon seller and vendor solutions.
