Enabling Shopify users to reach their potential audiences, CedCommerce, has launched Rakuten Marketplace Integration app for Shopify. The app is now available on Shopify app store.
The Rakuten Marketplace Integration app for Shopify is an API-based multichannel inventory & Order management software which will enable 1 million+ Shopify users base willing to sell on Rakuten or already selling manually through their storefronts to automate the online sale related operations.
Earlier CedCommerce also launched the similar automated multichannel inventory management tool for Woocommerce as well.
At the Product Launch, Co-Founder and Director of CedCommerce said, “E-commerce marketplace are proving to be one of most contributing factors for online sellers to scale up their businesses and boost revenues”.
A study conducted by Forrester states that “Half of the online retail B2C spend came from marketplaces in 2016; by 2022, this share could rise to 66% if current growth trends continue”. Another study done by USPS & comScore finding that 97% of the customers browse products on marketplaces before making purchases verifies the findings.
Merchants can upload the products in a bulk through CSV on Rakuten Marketplace and carry out changes in the product listings – title, description, quantity etc.
2) Order Acknowledgement:
The orders are synced with the app once merchants receive them at Rakuten, thereafter they are created on Shopify store, thereby, enabling merchants to manage the orders from their store.
3) Price Customization:
The app empowers merchants to customize the item pricing and adjust them periodically as per marketplace dynamics and competitor requirements.
4) Rakuten Feeds:
Merchants get notifications about the status of the products. This facilitates tracking of successful orders & failed orders etc.
5) Threshold Inventory Setup:
This feature enables merchants to avoid overselling. The merchants can set-up a minimum threshold limit for item inventory. This alarms the merchants whenever inventory level goes below this limit.
6) Auto Cancel Orders:
The app automatically cancels the orders as soon as the product has gone out of stock so as to prevent “late delivery” warning for the orders.
The Rakuten Shopify Integration app can be downloaded from the official Shopify app store by following the link ->
