Overview
Spring Edge SMS module is a SMS Notification extension for Magento 2. It is similar to the Magento 2 default email notification system except for the fact that SMS notification is sent. With the help of this module admin can set the SMS notification configuration settings for himself and the customers. Admin has the authority to enable or disable this functionality. This extension uses Spring Edge API for sending SMS, so you should already have the SMS Gateway API Key provided by Spring Edge for configuring the extension.
Features for Administrator
Notification is sent to the admin on new customer registration.
Text notification is sent to admin when any order is placed.
Admin receives notification when the payment is received for order and the status of the order is changed.
Features for Customer
Customer is notified when he registers successfully.
Customer is notified when he purchases any product or places an order.
When the customer cancels the order, a notification is sent to him.
Notification is sent to customer when the order is invoiced.
Customer is also notified when the order is shipped.
Admin can activate/deactivate the functionality as required.
