About Vendor Hyperlocal Addon [M2]

Hyperlocal Add-on helps to connect the Local store owner, customer and Admin to an ecommerce platform where the customer can enhance the online shopping experience for a local market. The shop owner can add the delivery location that they serve for the product sold. The customer can either enter their location (PINCODE) and then search the product that they required and is delivered to their location.

This addon is dependent on CedCommerce Multi-Vendor Marketplace Extension and Vendor Product Addon

Customer Location Search

Customers can enter their location so that the respective product of the vendor who ships in their area is displayed.

Browse Nearby sellers

Customers can check the vendors and their product availability for their location.

Location auto-detection

If the customer does not select his location then his location will be auto-detected by the system and set accordingly.

Benefits of the Vendor Hyperlocal Addon[M2]

Hyperlocal Addon helps to connect the vendors, customers, and Admin to an e-commerce platform where customers can enhance the online shopping experience for a local market. Admin of a system needs to have a Google API key so that the customer Auto Location can be fetched and the suggested stored can be displayed accordingly. Admin Features:

• Admin can add multiple ship areas and zip codes using CSV for the respective ship area.
• Admin needs to enter the map API key for geolocation and google autocomplete location.
• Admin can set the Filter type from the configuration. There are three types of filters defined in admin panel :
• Filter products by City, Country, and State (customer can buy products which are available to deliver in his city, state, and country)
• Filter products by Zipcode (customer can buy products which are available to deliver in the customer's zip code)
• Filter products by Distance - Admin can define the filter range and can select the unit (km or miles) Admin can also define the popup title, which is displayed to the customer at frontend to enter the location or zip code.

Vendor Features:

• Vendors can add multiple ship areas and multiple zip codes using CSV for shipping.
• Vendors can also manage the zip codes for the shipping area, can add a single zip code, can delete/edit zip codes for the shipping area.
• Vendors can edit/delete the ship Location.
• At the time of vendor registration, geolocation will fetch the current location of the vendor and autofill the field, latitude, and longitude fields, and if a vendor wants he/she can change the location by Google autocomplete location in the registration page.
• The vendor can also select the multiple ship areas for each product (if the admin selects Filter location - Product location in the configuration).

Customer Features

• Through geolocation, it will fetch the customer's current location and filter products on the category as well as search page with the selected location/zip code (based on the configuration).
• If a customer wants to change the location he can change from the frontend.
• The customer can not add products to the cart until he doesn't select any location. Validation at checkout that the products added in the cart are available for the selected shipping or billing address.
