Delhivery Shipping for Magento 2 module provides Delhivery Shipping service for shipping products in India. For an online business to grow, it is necessary to manage the maximum number of pin codes. Therefore, Magento Delhivery Shipping Service helps in managing a large number of Indian pin codes and letting your products reach maximum people.
Note: if laminas_barcode is not installed during module installation then user need to run this command in magento root -> composer require laminas/laminas-barcode
Admin can enable the Delhivery shipping method by going to the System > Configuration> Sales > Shipping Method > Delhivery section.
These are the following configuration that admin needs to do which is as follows-
Provide the title of the shipping method.
Method name of the shipping.
Client ID / Login ID is registered username (user ID) with Delhivery.
License key generated after registration for Delhivery.
The admin will also provide the Delhivery gateway URL, pin code URL, AWB URL, Tracking URL.
There are 2 modes of shipment that the admin can select and get the price from Surface and Express.
The admin can set the error message which will be displayed if the shipping method is not available.
Note:Which type of account ( i.e. surface/express) you have registered with Delhiveryshould be selected in the mode field.
As the Delhivery shipping method is India is based, therefore the admin needs to configure the origin section of shipping settings.
The configuration settings can be opened from Store > Configuration > Sales > Shipping settings in the menu section.
Admin can manage the pin code from Admin < Delhivery < Manage Pincode .
Download all the pin codes available for this shipping module.
List to all the pin codes along with the Pre-Paid, Cash, Pickup, and COD details.
Admin can manage the AWB Numbers from Admin < Delhivery < Manage AWB.
To get the AWB Numbers from the Delhivery shipping provider, you need to download the AWB by clicking on “Download AWB.”
Here, a list of AWB Number will be downloaded which can be further assigned to the order placed. When the order is placed, the automatic tracking number which is assigned to the order is picked from AWB number only after getting checked.
Pending / Shipped / Dispatched / Completed are the type of status that get updated for a specific AWB number, so that admin can check which AWB number is available or in use.
When you want to Flush-Out / Remove the AWB numbers from your list that were earlier downloaded, just click on Flush AWB.
Pickup and Label
Admin can create a pickup request for an AWB number assigned to an order.
Admin can send “Pickup Request” to Delhivery server for collecting the order package.Pickup request can be scheduled according to the owner’s convenience.
Admin can enable or disable Delhivery Shipping Method.
Admin can set the delhivery Shipping name that will be displayed on the checkout page.
An owner can ship delhivery, as well as non-delhivery orders.
Order information gets submitted at delhivery-end automatically.
Bulk shipping label, as well as a manifest label having the barcode, can be printed.
The admin can easily generate the Delhivery Shipping label.
Tracking number status can be updated by the Owner.
Pickup request can be scheduled according to the store’s working period.
The customer can see Delhivery Shipping method at the checkout page.
More than 13000 pin codes are serviceable.
Pre-paid and post-paid both types of orders can be placed.
Calculates rates according to the pin code and product weight dynamically.
Buyers can track their order status.
It will not show for non-serviceable pin codes at the check-out.
Manage Orders and Shipment Page
When the order gets placed by the customer, then the admin can ship the product and generate the invoice of that product. The Ship button is available to ship the order and automatically allots the AWB Number, if that order has delhivery shipment enabled.
Non - delhivery orders (if delhivery shipping is not selected during check-out) also can be shipped from delhivery. When a shipment is generated, the tracking number automatically gets assigned to that order. Admin can generate a manifest and can download the pdf of that manifest.
When the admin ships the order and the Tracking number is allocated, that is updated for the customer on his account from where the customer can track the package details.
