Lazada Group is a privately owned German e-commerce company founded in 2011. Lazada e-commerce websites soft-launched in 2012 in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Lazada announced that its marketplace platform accounted for more than 65% of its overall sales and that the number of third-party sellers on the platform had increased from ~500 in November 2013, to close to 10,000 in December 2014.

In March 2016, Lazada claimed it recorded a total of $1.36 billion in annualized across its six markets in Asia, making it the largest e-commerce player. As of April 2016, Lazada is majority-owned by Alibaba Group.

Admin can synchronize the orders, products, pricing, and inventory through establishing the interaction between the Lazada APIs and the Lazada-Magento Integration extension.

With this extension the admin can manage the Lazada orders on the Magento stores without making any significant changes in the operational functionalities.

It enables the admin to create the Lazada Categories and its dependent attributes on the Magento store. Thus, it enables the admin to configure the desired product category to the Magento store for auto submission of the selected product to the same category on Lazada.com.

Key Features

Profile based product upload: Admin can create a profile and map Lazada category and attributes to that of Magento. Then, after assigning the products to the profile, can easily upload products to the Lazada.

Archive and Unarchive Products: Merchants can close and reopen the products on Lazada using this feature. Archive disables the products on Lazada.com and Unarchive enables the archived product.

Simple and Configurable Products Upload: Admin can upload Simple and Configurable types of Magento product on Lazada. The configurable product in Magento is treated as Variation product on Lazada.

Bulk Upload System: The merchant has the flexibility to upload any number of products on Lazada.com using bulk product upload feature.

Product Category Mapping: Follows many-to-one category mapping philosophy. Admin can map many categories of the Magento store to the single category of Lazada.

Synchronized Inventory and Profile Based Pricing: Auto synchronization of the inventory at regular intervals. Listing of the products along with all the details is established between Magento and Lazada.com.

New Order Notifications: Whenever a new order is fetched from Lazada.com, the admin receives a notification.

Low Stock Notifications: Whenever Stock diminishes lower than a threshold, the admin receives a notification informing the status.

Rejected Products Notification: If Lazada.com rejects any product due to invalid details, then its information is fetched from the auto synchronized requests along with the error due to which it is rejected.
