Admin can limit the usage of downloadable types of products by allowing only limited file formats such as jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, rar. Admin can also limit the number of product creation by vendors and can make the approval compulsory for a product to go live on Magento marketplace.

Order & Transaction on the Magento based marketplace

Vendors can check the details of their orders on the marketplace from their individual dashboard. Vendors can also analyze the countries over a map from where the orders have been placed for their products.

They can be able to see the analytical reports for their orders and transactions on your multivendor marketplace such as Total earned amount, Total pending amount and total sold products, etc.

Flexibility for Admin to hide customer info from vendors & vice versa. (M2.4.5 & Above)

• Admin can hide customer info from vendors completely. This feature might help in case you think that vendors can approach the customers directly for business & bypassing the order on your multi-vendor marketplace. 

• Admin can also hide vendor details from the customers from orders, invoices & storefronts. This feature might help if you are setting up an online dropshipping business but don't want your customers to know that orders are being fulfilled by other sellers. 

• If Admin has chosen to hide vendor details from the customers then the Marketplace page (the page where all vendor shops are being listed), Vendor shop pages, Vendor name on the vendor’s product pages & cart page will get disabled as well.

Simple transaction among Customers, vendors, and admin

Once you set up your multivendor marketplace on Magento, customers can purchase the items on the marketplace. Customers can add products from separate vendors in the same cart and proceed to the checkout to purchase products from different vendors simultaneously.

Customers can pay through their credit or debit cards, bank transfer, check/money order and COD. Once the order is completed, the admin can see the amount he has to pay the vendor while the vendors can see the pending amount on his panel in your Magento marketplace. Admin can configure the commission amount as fixed or percentage-based.

The Marketplace hyperlink in the front end is used to list all the vendors associated with the Magento based multi-vendor marketplace at a single link. Customers can search the vendors by vendor’s names, country, and zip codes.
